Destinations

Destinations is our Academic Year program for Grades 10 –12 that runs from September–May. Destinations is designed for students pursuing a creative career, or for those who want to take their art skills to a high level. Your child will shine as an accomplished and confident artist. Opportunities abound for students to explore and prepare their portfolio for a wide variety of creative futures. To get the most out of this program, we highly recommend students attend for the full academic year. Students who attend all three years will master numerous artistic skills.

10th Grade Creative Contributions

Students participate in a weekly fine art studio supported by highly skilled instructors and surrounded by equally motivated peers. Young artists will create a body of work reflecting a deep exploration of their personal art style, and get a firsthand look at the power of contributing their artistic gifts to the community.

11th Grade Creative Career Exploration

Students produce numerous high-quality finished art pieces to begin building an exemplary personal portfolio. Instructors support students to stretch, refine their work, and reflect in guided group critiques. Students will explore a wide variety of creative careers, exposing them to diverse opportunities including college, art school and non-traditional pathways.

12th Grade Graduate Portfolio

Students complete and submit a robust art portfolio for college or art school applications. Instructors help with planning and pacing to build confidence and reduce stress throughout the process. Seniors graduating from Davis Studio’s Destinations program are honored at a special senior art show exhibit, dinner, and awards ceremony. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to host a solo art show, prepare an artist’s statement and conduct an artist’s talk.

Destinations Pricing & Schedule

Destinations is in session from Friday, September 6, 2024 to Friday, May 23, 2025.

Youth Art Cancellation Policy:

Destinations requires 45 days’ written notice of cancellation. If you need to withdraw your student, please email the office at with your request.
