Explorer’s Path Enrichment Program

Explorer’s Path Enrichment Program

The Explorer’s Path Enrichment Program is an excellent fit for students who are big thinkers, enjoy variety, and would like to explore a wide range of artistic mediums. Classes meet in person from 9 a.m.–2:30 p.m. once per week. Explorer’s Path is an academic year program that runs from September – May. We welcome new students at the beginning of each month if space is available. We must receive 45 days notice to withdraw from the program. To get the most out of this program, we highly recommend students attend for the full academic year. Students who attend multiple years will master dozens of artistic skills and will cover numerous academic themes.

New students may join at any age, regardless of current artistic training or ability. They will be enrolled at their grade level.

Spark your child’s love of learning by engaging them artistically, creatively and academically. The ongoing Explorer’s Path Program guides children to make connections and see wonder in their world.

Why is Creativity the Most Important Skill of the Future?

Engaging creativity opens us up to an exhilarating, life-changing, and world-changing gift that brings new possibilities for problem-solving.

The Power of Art and Academics

Through the arts, your child will make hands-on emotional connections to learning. Art is a powerful way to make learning memorable and meaningful. Students cover four themes per year with engaging topics such as Ancient Egypt, Electricity, or Mythical Creatures. Academic subject areas, including Language Arts, Literature, Writing, History, Natural Sciences, and Fine Arts, are integrated into each topic.

What Will Your Child Receive?

Your child will make connections with engaged and motivated peers while completing diverse, high-quality art projects in each theme unit. They will get a rich overview of art mediums and techniques, with in-depth experiences in drawing, painting, ceramics, fused glass, fiber arts, print-making, mixed media, and sculpture.

Students will also receive an Art Materials Kit with the following:

  • A beautiful wooden art kit for storing materials
  • High quality drawing, painting & illustration materials

“We just wanted to say how impressed we have been with the art and enrichment program that our children attended this year. We loved seeing their notes, their artwork, and all of the knowledge that they’ve gained about the world.
What a great program!”
