Overview: In this digital photography course, you’ll be off scouting various locations with you camera in manual mode. Become a pro with all those buttons and dials on your camera, as you learn how to make expressive, artistic photographs. You’ll learn the fundamentals of lighting and exposure, practicing techniques that will help you harness your artistic vision. Go on guided photo shoots and discuss themes and techniques for making professional-looking work. The results will be your own fantastic, digital portfolio, worthy of display in any home or gallery.

Note: Students will need to bring their own digital cameras to class, specifically a digital SLR or any model that can be set to manual mode (M). We’d also encourage those who are able, to bring a laptop and learn the basics of photo editing.

Cancellation Policy: Camp fees are non-refundable but can be transferred to a future session if a written request is received at least 14 days before the start date. Cancellations made within 14 days are subject to a 25% fee, and those within 48 hours are non-refundable/non-transferable. Multiple transfers may incur additional fees.
