Instructor: Jason Gorcoff (Thursdays), Melissa Detroy (Mondays), Kat Lawlis (Wednesdays)

Independent Study will offer students the opportunity to explore and work on drawing and painting projects of specific interest. Students will spend the class working independently with an instructor on hand for assistance and advice with materials and techniques. At the mid way point (Week 4) and at the conclusion of the course (Week 8) the Instructor will invite everyone to gather for a group critique.

This course is open to ANY student who is looking for dedicated studio work time surrounded by a vibrant and supportive creative community. There is no prerequisite to register for this class.

Davis Studio will provide Independent Study students with access to paint (acrylic, water mixable oils, watercolor, and gouache) and a variety of drawing supplies. Students must provide their own canvas.
