Drawing Animals, Real & Imagined, June 15-19

Using your powers of observation along with basic shapes and lines you will become an animal illustrating expert in just one week. Animals make interesting subjects for drawing. Fill a sketchbook with dozens of animal drawings. For a final project, you will use professional quality artists pencils and charcoals on toned paper to draw a realistic looking animal of your choice. Learn about fur patterns and textures. You’ll be given several secret strategies that will improve your artwork. Complete a gorgeous portrait of your favorite pet or make a detailed illustration of a fantasy creature that looks like it came to life.
Important Note: This camp is held at Vermont Commons School, located at 75 Green Mountain Drive in South Burlington, Vermont. Just 5 minutes from Davis Studio.
