Date: Wednesday, July 24, 2024
Time: 6–8 p.m.
Location: 916 Shelburne Road
Instructor: Paula Willoquet

Wondering what to do with all those remnants of colorful opal and transparent glass? How about those bits and pieces of dichroic, pattern bars and part sheets of stringers? Bring them to the Cabochons Workshop and have a blast turning squares into circles, making buttons, pendants, and anything else your imagination desires!! This is a special firing opportunity at the studio.

You will have the opportunity to combine layers of clear and design glass to create at least 10 one-of-a-kind and colorful cabochons that you can also incorporate as unique design elements in other fused glass pieces.

To participate students must have taken an 8 week course at Davis Studio or have participated in Davis Studio Independent Study. No materials are included in the workshop fee. Please bring your own glass to use and consider coming to Independent Study beforehand to create your own batik, stringer sheet, or stencil to help create your Cabochons. As always we do have glass available for purchase for the student during the workshop.
