This exciting technique combines pressed plant clippings and layers of powder that, when fused under sheets of glass, leave behind a fossil-like silhouette! You’ll learn how to design and prep your plant pieces, prepare your glass, and load your artwork into the kilns. Some project ideas include small dishes, or coasters. Experienced glass students may prefer to create a pattern sheet to use in a later design. No experience is necessary to give this a try, but a steady hand will go a long way.
No experience necessary! Material fee is included in the class but you’ll have to leave it with us to fire. You’ll be able to pick it up in about a week.
