Join us for an introduction to jewelry and wearable fused glass artwork! Learn techniques for designing beautiful and unique pieces that include the use of dichroic glass, frit (crushed glass), metal inclusions/ foil, and mica powder to create striking patterns. We will cover the ins and outs of how to mount pieces, and finishing techniques like drilling holes, options for adhering bails, considerations in using jump rings, and learning how to wire wrap your pieces.  Some of these techniques are not limited to jewelry making!

This 8-week introductory course will also cover basic glass fusing concepts, hand tools, use of coldworking equipment and considerations in kiln firing. This course is great for beginners and for any experienced glass fuser who wants to learn some new techniques.

In-Class Materials fee: The cost of materials will depend on the size of your project and ranges between $30-$100 total for all class projects. We will use the credit card you have on file. No card info, checks or cash taken at class.
