Overview: Create paintings on stretched canvas inspired by impressionist painters Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, and Mary Cassatt. Experience the natural light of the outdoors through an “En Plein Air” (outdoor painting) experience. Use chalk pastels to draw a portrait inspired by Cassatt. Complete a wire sculpture of a figure in motion, inspired by Degas. Explore mono printing to create a water lily pond image. And design your own Monet-style three-dimensional mini-garden. Explore this revolutionary movement that changed the art world.
