5-day camp
Dates:  June 29–July 3, 2020
Time:  9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Location: Davis Studio, 916 Shelburne Road, South Burlington, VT
Instructor: Kristen Watson

Photographers get ready for a week of adventure! We will travel to urban areas, parks, lakefront and local areas of interest to learn and practice how to make expressive, artistic photographs. Together we’ll explore what all those buttons, menus, and doo-hickeys on your camera actually do. You’ll learn the fundamentals of using your camera to make breath-taking nature, still life, action, landscape and portraiture.

Bring your own iPad or laptop to learn the basics of organizing, editing, and printing photographs to create next level images, digital collages, and other fun projects. Photography showcase and reception will be hosted by the campers on Friday afternoon.

Note: Students will need to bring their own digital point and shoot, DSLR, or similar camera. iPads, and/or laptops (PC or Mac, no Chromebooks please) are required if they wish to learn editing. However, very basic photo editing can also be accomplished in-camera. If you do not have/cannot bring a device for photo editing we have a limited number of iPads available for loan during camp. Please specify your need when registering for class and we will do our best to accommodate. Please contact the instructor directly with any tech questions: kmwatson.art@gmail.com
