4 week class that is open to beginners and experienced fusers. Looking at views, plans, patterns from up on high as a source of inspiration, we will use sheet glass, frits and stringers to make components we then cut up to assemble our abstracted finished platters and panels. Learn cutting techniques, color design and how different glass interacts when heated. Students of all levels will be guided through a variety of projects, building week to week on techniques you'll learn. You will be surprised how simple it is to achieve amazing results immediately. Take home incredible flat fired and slumped finished pieces to display proudly in your home. You will also learn to finish glass in our cold-working shop, which will give your pieces a more professional look.
