We are unable to accept cash.
In the first week of this new 3-week class you will learn cutting and constructing techniques to form, with 1/8” fiber paper, relief in a frame-like structure in glass. The second week we create a simple 2-layer design focal piece to be incorporated into the frame, and do some simple coldworking or finishing on the frame itself. In the final class we will cut up the fired 2 layer design, coldwork those new edges, and incorporate that piece into the glass framework--allowing focus on that piece, and a completely new perspective for the whole work. A quick mask/sandblasting will provide the perfect finish.
Our finished piece will be a scaled down version of the accompanying image.
