Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm

This 3 week class is open to both beginners and returning students. Learn to cut strips of glass by hand and on our strip cutter. Let your creativity flow as you arrange your assortment of beautifully colored glass strips into a one-of-a-kind strip bowl. Create geometric patterns and designs to incorporate it into a strip bowl construction. All will contribute to a project to proudly display your new skills. Learn cutting techniques, color design and how different glass interacts when heated. We will discuss the kiln firing schedule used and learn the cold-working (finishing) that will happen to the thicker edges between the 2 firings.
In-Class Materials fee: You will select and purchase the glass for your projects from our inventory during the class. The typical cost per project ranges from $5 - $20 depending on the size and the type of glass you choose. Please bring a credit card or check to your class to pay for the materials fee. We are unable to accept cash.
