Learn how to make a fantastic fascinator in four evening classes. You will hand sew your own one of a kind wearable headpiece using a pre-formed fascinator base and silk fabric. We will make beautiful 1920s style ribbon flowers to decorate your creation. Millinery (hat making) and ribbon work are wonderfully satisfying, tactile and sculptural arts. This class is great for beginner and advanced students alike. All supplies will be provided. Guest instructor Cecilia Leibovitz has been creating ribbon flowers and hats for seven years. Her handmade hats have been sold in New York City, select Vermont galleries, and on the Martha Stewart American Made website.
