What better time of year to observe light and color than Spring? As the days grow longer and our environment comes back to life, take a few hours each week to really look at how the sun brightens our days! While learning the properties of water soluble oil paint, students will practice the art of seeing, specifically how light reflects off of, and shines through, different surfaces. Focus will be on the shiny finish of teapots and kettles, the colorful transparency of liquid in glass, and the brightness and shadow of direct sunlight. Water soluble oil paints are a versatile and fun medium to explore these beautiful effects. Beginners and beyond are welcome!
